Fabric protection starts from $44 per seat, and protection plans for new furniture come with a 5 year warranty.

What Professional Fabric Protection Does to Your Upholstery
Fabric protection is a treatment we apply to the fibres of your upholstery. It surrounds each fibre so that a spilt drink, a drop of oil or tracked-in dirt sits on the surface for longer instead of soaking straight in. That gives you time to blot the spill before it becomes a stain, and it makes routine cleaning easier.
Our fabric protector includes two added treatments. Ray-Shield reduces the effects of UV damage, which matters for a lounge that sits in the afternoon sun near a window. Silver Plus is an anti-microbial treatment that targets odour-causing bacteria, so the fabric stays fresher between cleans.
The treatment does not change the colour, softness or texture of the fabric. Once it has dried, it is safe around children and pets.
Fabric Protection for New Furniture
Leading furniture retailers, upholsterers and manufacturers refer their customers to us so that a new sofa is protected from the day it arrives. We clean and protect showroom floor stock for retailers including Freedom and Lounges Plus, and Lounges Plus offers our 5 year fabric protection warranty to its customers.
When you buy a Wundaguard protection plan for new furniture, the 5 year warranty covers accidental stains such as food, drinks and other everyday spills. The warranty does not cover animal damage. The warranty terms published with our retailer partners also leave out the general soiling and body oil staining that comes from normal use, and they ask for a professional clean at least every 18 months, so ask us to go through the full terms with you before you book.
Fabric Protection for Furniture You Already Own
You do not need a brand new lounge to benefit from fabric protection. If your sofa or armchairs have been in use for a while, we professionally clean the upholstery first and then apply the protection, which restores the look of the fabric and adds protection against future stains.
If you have a fine fabric such as velvet or linen, tell us when you book. We match the cleaning method and the protection to the fabric before we start.

A fabric protection spray from the shop is quick to buy, but it is hard to apply evenly by hand. Cushions and seams are easy to miss, and a heavy coat in one spot can leave the fabric feeling stiff. When our technicians apply fabric protection, they treat every cushion, seam and surface evenly and match the product to the fabric.
We also sell our own fabric protector in 250 mL and 1 litre bottles through the Wundaguard store. It suits touch-ups between professional treatments, small items, and customers outside Sydney who cannot book a visit.
